Upcoming Events Free the Hikers! Philadelphia Vigil - Saturday, July 31, 1:00 - 2:00 PM Josh Fattal, Sarah Shourd and Shane Bauer. Three fellow Cal alums who have been imprisoned in Iran for nearly a year. On Saturday, July 31 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, a vigil will be held in Independence Park by the Liberty Bell to commemorate the one year anniversary of their capture. Their mothers, who recently visited them in Iran, will be in attendance. Also planned are several speakers and appearances by local and (possibly) national dignitaries. Here is the official poster for the event. Please consider attending this important event to show your support! Pass the word along to anyone else you think may be interested. Laura Fattal (who lives in the Philadelphia area) is very excited about members from our club coming out to show their solidarity with the kids. Her goal is to have at least 365 attendees representing each day they have been in captivity. This is posted as an event on our Facebook group.
