JOBS

HOUSING

Eastern Mkt House-share:

Hey Cal people. My roommate is getting deployed to Iraq so we are looking for someone to fill his room for six to eight months (maybe longer). The room is the master bedroom with a walk in closet, whirlpool bathtub, stand alone shower, and its own balcony. The room is furnished (queen bed and two dressers) so it is ideal for someone who is coming in for a rotation or is just moving to DC. The rent is $1100 a month which includes all utilities. The house is a four story townhouse with a washer/dry, great rooftop deck and two other roommates (one a recent female graduate of law school and the other is me). The house is two blocks from the metro and the new Harris Tetter. Let me know if you or any of your friends are interested. Will be in town all weekend if you want to stop by and take a look. Room will be available 1 Dec. Thanks

GOODS/SERVICE

Dear fellow alumni
I am wondering if you can help.  We are looking for a
nanny for our nanny share in Courthouse. We need someone who is capable of taking care of two young children (7 months), with different need sets, without feeling overwhelmed. The hours will be a 40 to 45 hour week. We would like someone who has lots of energy and will responsibly care for our children, providing excellent developmental play.

Additional qualities:
- Must be legal and willing to do appropriate taxes - MUST provide documents (we have to be strict with this)
- willing to provide information for a background check
- non-smoker and pet-free (child has allergies)
- have previous experience working with more than 1 child
- have at least two references
- CPR certified
- willing to help with light housework during nap times
- we are interested in persons who speak other languages

Please let me know if you know someone that fits the
request!

Thanks
